Privacy Policy
Last updated October 21, 2026
This privacy policy explains how Lambda Solutions LLC ("we," "us" or "our"), which owns and operates Senior Home Guides and the website seniorhomeguides.com (the "Site"), collects, uses and shares information about you when you visit the Site, answer our questions, or contact us (together, our "Services").
Senior Home Guides is a free service that helps families find senior living options and connects them with senior advisors. If you have questions about this policy, email us at team@seniorhomeguides.com.
The short version
- What we collect: your answers to our questions, your contact details, records of the consent you give, and standard information about your device and visit.
- Why: to respond to your request, to verify and contact you, to run and improve the Site, and to measure our advertising.
- Who we share it with: the service providers that help us run the Site. We don't share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- What we never ask for: Social Security numbers, payment card numbers or account passwords.
- Your choices: you can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, and you can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
1. What information we collect
In short: We collect what you tell us, records of your consent, and standard information about your device and visit.
Information you give us. When you answer our questions or contact us, we collect:
- who you're helping (for example, your mom, your dad or yourself) and an age range
- the type of living or care you're exploring
- your ZIP code and the city closest to you
- your timeline
- how your family plans to pay, and a monthly budget range
- whether you're helping make the decision
- your first and last name, email address and phone number
- anything you write to us, for example in an email
We don't ask for Social Security numbers, payment card numbers or account passwords, and you don't need to create an account. Please don't send us more personal detail than our questions ask for.
Phone verification. If you agree to receive text messages, we may ask you to confirm your phone number by entering a one-time code that we send by text message.
Consent records. When you agree to be contacted, we keep a record of that agreement: the wording you saw, the button you clicked, the date and time, the page address, your IP address and your browser type. We may use a third-party service to create an independent record of the consent (a certificate of the visit).
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring page, the pages you view and the actions you take, and the date and time of your visit. We also collect the campaign details in the link you followed to reach us (such as UTM tags and advertising click identifiers), so we know which ads and sources bring families to the Site. We use your IP address and ZIP code to estimate your general location. We don't collect precise location from your device.
2. How we use your information
In short: To connect you with help, to contact you, to run the Site, and to measure our ads.
- To provide the Services: to understand what your family is looking for and respond to your request.
- To contact you: by phone, text message or email about your request, including follow-up and scheduling, when you've agreed to it.
- To verify information: such as confirming your phone number, and to prevent fraud, spam and misuse.
- To run and improve the Site: to understand how visitors use it, fix problems and make it easier to use.
- To measure and improve our advertising: to learn which ads lead families to the Site and to show our ads to people likely to find them useful.
- To comply with the law: to keep required records, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights and the rights of others.
5. Text messages
In short: If you opt in, we may send you text messages about your senior living request. We don't share your mobile information with third parties for their marketing.
Text messages from Senior Home Guides are sent by Lambda Solutions LLC, which operates Senior Home Guides. We ask for two separate, optional consents. If you consent to non-marketing text messages, we use your mobile phone number to send messages about your senior living request, such as a code to verify your number, call scheduling and appointment reminders. If you separately consent to marketing text messages, we also use it to follow up on the senior living options you asked about. If you don't consent to either, we won't text you. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, including to keep records of consent and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. Information in backups is deleted on the backup's normal schedule.
7. How we keep your information safe
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
8. People under 18
The Services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has given us information, email us at team@seniorhomeguides.com and we will delete it.
